Full Time Trailer Living: Day 228

Happy national caesar day!!

We ran out of white paint!! We bought a whole gallon, and thought it would be plenty, but then we realized we had to do six coats on everything. The good news is we ran out after we finished around the bed. Unfortunately, we still have all the cupboards in the bathroom.

Anyways, we completed the bedroom today!! We added another coat of white to the cupboard doors, Jeff refinished the glass for the cupboards with the frosted look, and we painted the dark grey on the bottom of our bed and the light grey on the walls. Today was a bit colder then yesterday and it took forever for the paint to dry. We actually had to turn on the heat because after four hours it was still tacky.

We’re waiting until everything is done to put our new bedding on. Jeff says if we put out the new bedding and we are still painting, I will definitely get paint on the new bedding. He may be right, so we’re waiting until we finish the bathroom. I will give you a sneak peak though. Here’s our before:

And this is our almost done sneak peak picture:

I can’t wait to put together a complete reveal when everything is done! We are so close!! Tomorrow we tackle the dreaded bathroom. It’s tiny so it’s going to be difficult. I’m sure the dogs will be happy when we finish up these renovations. Luka did not appreciate Jeff rolling her rolls!!

While we were waiting for the paint to dry we went out for bridge fries, picked up more white paint, watched the season finale of S.W.A.T. and I even had time to dye my hair.

We finally got our bed back together at 11pm. It was a long day, and I’m thinking it will be another long one tomorrow. Thankfully, the end is in sight!!
