Full Time Trailer Living: Year 2, Day 62

We woke up to a beautiful day!! The sun was shining and the wind had calmed down. We had our coffee, then I loaded up the pups and went to pick up my mom.

The hotel my mom is staying at has a beautiful pond, and there are a bunch of Canadian geese that have flocked there. Of course Luka found a nice pile of goose poop to roll in, so we had to go up to my mom’s room and give her a bath before we hit the road.

While we we’re gone, Jeff got our window fixed!! The rivet gun worked perfectly, and it’s as good as new now!

When we got back to the park, we went to lounge by the pool with Logan and Kira. Today is their last day here. We are so bummed they are leaving so soon, but the good news is, next year we are both planning on coming back and staying for at least a month at this park together.

The pool was wonderful, and we had a nice relaxing day soaking up the sun.

Once the sun went down, we ventured out to downtown Palm Springs. It is such a posh area, and we went to a really good restaurant called Lulu’s.

Dinner was amazing!!

And the company was pretty great too!

We dropped the boys off after dinner and had a ladies shopping evening. We had a blast and shopped til we dropped!!

I’m so glad we have made such great friends on the road. It is amazing how quickly we have become close friends with Logan and Kira, and I really feel like it’s a life long bond. We wish them safe travels as they venture east, and look forward to meeting back up with them in the spring!!

My mom got to know them pretty well when they came to visit us in Sarnia, so it was nice they could all be here at the same time!
