Full Time Trailer Living: Year 2, Day 314

Today is our anniversary, so this will be a bit of a sappy trip down memory lane. We’ve been together 10 years now, and it’s been the best 10 years of my life.

I went through Facebook looking at pictures all the way back to when we first started dating 10 years ago. I’d say we’ve aged pretty good!

One of our first pictures together.

Family photos at the summer cottage.

It’s amazing how much better the quality of pictures becomes as we progress through the past 10 years!

Our first trip to Florida.

And yes, that is Jeff without a beard!!

We have had such an amazing life together so far, and we are so blessed to have been able to travel and explore our dreams together!

Our first trip to Las Vegas.

Our first time in Utah.

Another stop in Vegas.

Attending the Nascar race in Michigan.

We have actually known each other for quite a few years, but when we started dating 10 years ago, I never would have expected the grand adventure that this relationship has become. I honestly couldn’t even begin to guess the amount of miles we’ve logged together.

Family photo at dad’s wedding.

Attending a friend’s wedding.

Jeff’s cousin’s wedding.

We’ve obviously had good times and bad, as to be expected over a decade, but the good definitely outweighs the bad, and all of our experiences have helped our relationship grow stronger. I honestly couldn’t imagine my life without Jeff.

One of our many red wings games.

Our first trip out in our trailer.

Our first big road trip in the trailer.

Boondocking in Colorado.

Our first time in San Francisco.

I love the life we have created together. We never really know what we’re doing or where we’re going, but we know it will be an adventure!! I feel like we’ve done more in 10 years than some people do in a lifetime, and I love it!!

Raising money in memory of Jeff’s mom.

Our first time in Jamaica.

Our first attempt at living in our trailer in Florida.

We celebrated our love, and committed ourselves to each other two years ago on this day. We both decided a wedding was a complete waste of money, we know we’re committed to each other, and we would rather take the money we would have spent on a wedding and invest it into more adventures! Our commitment ceremony was perfect.

And a month later our house was sold and we were on the road! And the rest is history!

I have no idea what our future holds, but I know we’re in it together. 10 years down, a lifetime to go!
