Full Time Trailer Living: Year 2, Day 364

I can’t believe we’re nearing our 2 year nomadiversary!! It’s also the last day in September, and it ended up being a beautiful day, even though we started with a heavy downpour at 6 this morning.

Since it was overcast this morning, it was perfect running weather. Becks motivated me to get out there and go for a run, and I’m so glad I did. The paths here are beautiful, and I usually have them to myself.

Today was no different. I pushed myself to hit 5km, and I just about died in my last km, but I made it!!

It wasn’t very fast, but now that I’m back up to a decent distance I can work on my pace.

When I got back, I had a shower. We forgot our water regulator, so our water pressure is unreal! Definitely not complaining.

Once we were both ready to go, we headed out to get groceries. There’s a Costco near by, so we went there first, picked up a couple cases of water and a few groceries. We can’t really do a full shop there because most of their stuff is ginormous. Once we finally have a house again though, it’s game on.

So our second stop of the day was the Real Canadian Superstore for the majority of our groceries. Jeff actually came with me, which was a nice change. I normally end up doing our grocery shopping by myself, and I really enjoyed his company. I wish he would come with me more.

We headed home, got our food put away, and had a quiet afternoon. Not going to lie, my legs feel like rubber. It’s been a while since I’ve pushed myself that hard with my running. But, the pups still needed walking, so after dinner we went for a sunset walk.

It was beautiful! We walked the pups all the way to the front of the park. We only had to stop a couple times for people to see Simon. He sure is the center of attention everywhere we go!

We were all beat after our walk, and we decided to have an early night. Tomorrow is supposed to break records with the heat and humidity, so we want to be able to get outside and enjoy it!!
