Full Time Trailer Living: Year 3, Day 3

Wow did it get cold quick!! Thankfully it’s not here to stay, but it was so cold today!!

I still got out to run. It was so windy it really wasn’t enjoyable, and I was super slow, but I still put in my full 5km.

I had the trail pretty much to myself again. If it wasn’t so cold and windy, it would have been perfect!!

When I got back, I had my shower and got ready to go out to do some winery hopping. I have to say, I’m still very much in love with my shampoo.

I haven’t had to use my straightener since I changed to Monat! And they’ve added something called purchase + which saves you even more money while you’re shopping. Check it out!!

We went to take the Viper for our winery hopping, but before we could get out of the park, Jeff said the clutch was feeling sloppy and he was having trouble getting it into gear. We think it might be a seal going in the master cylinder for his clutch. Needless to say, we parked it, and we’re hoping he’ll be able to limp it back to Sarnia on Sunday. It’s all booked into Bayview for Wednesday, so we’ll get things fixed up before she goes away for the winter.

We still went out to the wineries, we just took the truck instead. Obviously, we had to stop at my favourite, Colio.

We picked up some wine there, then cruised to a few other wineries, but they all seemed to be super busy, so we didn’t stay long at any of them. Instead, we headed home and had some dinner.

We decided after dinner to get the pups out for a walk before it got dark and even colder. We had to bundle Simon up because he’s so little. It’s funny because as soon as I put his sweater on, he freezes up and won’t move his arms. It’s pretty adorable.

We stopped in to say hi to Doug and Karen and warm up a bit before continuing on. Simon had a cat nap while we were visiting.

When we got home we finally caved and turned the heat on. We tried to hold out as long as possible, but it dropped into the 40s tonight and we don’t have insulation.

I worked on, and finished a new bracelet tonight while we hibernated by the heater.

I love this new style! I’ll probably be able to get another one done tomorrow because they don’t take as long to make! I’d say I could get 2 done, but we have family lunch tomorrow up at the club house tomorrow. It should be fun!!
