We decided that today was a good day to start moving our stuff. Matt has had a couple dehumidifiers and some fans running in his basement, so everything has been drying out, but we know he’s anxious to get things taken care of. So we picked up my dad’s trailer and headed to London. Again.
We were able to fit all of our totes into dad’s trailer, and a large majority of our remaining stuff is up in Matt’s garage. If I had to guess, we have about 2 more trips from London, which isn’t too bad. We’re planning on leaving our stuff that we loaded up today in my dad’s trailer until we get the house. So since that trailer is full, we are thinking about renting another trailer so we can move some more stuff out before our close date. At least we won’t have to do a bunch of trips to London after we get the house I guess!
When we got back into Sarnia, we dropped off the trailer with my dad, and swung by our new house. The sold sign is up!!
We are both pretty sore tonight after all that work. Thankfully we have some time to recoup now, before our next round of moving.
We’re down to 11 days, and we’re getting more excited with each day that passes!
